Retired Beanie Babies
Dogs

Bones the Spaniel

This is Bones, all sprawled out and ready to take a nap after a hard day of play. He was born January 18, 1994, and his poem reads:

Bones is a dog that loves to chew
Chairs and tables and a smelly old shoe.
“You’re so destructive” all would shout
That stopped when his teeth fell out!

Surely that poem refers to his sharp little puppy teeth falling out, because Bones doesn’t look at all unhappy. He’s a beige spaniel with brown ears and tail, and his eyes and nose are jet black. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Bones was retired on May 1, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Bones the Spaniel - puppy

Here’s Bones when he was a puppy. As you can see, that’s when he first started sprawling out and taking naps! His tags identify him as one of the Teenie Beanie Babies by Ty, Inc. and his tush tag carries a copyright date of 1993. (According to Wikipedia, Teenie Beanie Babies were an offshoot of the Beanie Babies line and specially produced for McDonalds Happy Meal promotions.) Puppy Bones is surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. Weenie the Dachshund

This is Weenie, whose breeder sure didn’t have much of an imagination to give him that oh-so-obvious name! He was born July 20, 1995, and his poem reads:

Weenie the dog is quite a sight,
Long of body and short of height.
He perches himself high on a log
And considers himself to be top dog!

Well, at least they got the Dachshund personality right! Weenie is a brown Dachshund with black eyes and nose. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Weenie was retired on May 1, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Wrinkles the Bulldog

This is Wrinkles who’s so proud that he’s finally grown up just enough to have two wrinkles on his back and one on his head. He was born May 1, 1996, and hos poem reads:

This little dog is named Wrinkles.
His nose is soft and often crinkles.
Likes to climb up on your lap,
He’s a cherry sort of chap!

Wrinkles is beige with white markings on his face, ears, and neck and a completely white tummy. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. They’ve always said he’s a Bulldog, but I think they don’t know a Shar Pei when they see one! Wrinkles was retired on September 22, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. Even his tummy is clean and white! (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Even though his legs are short.
He is always happy as can be.
His best friends are you and me!

Scottie does indeed look quite friendly and ready for a romp. He’s coal black from head to toe. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Scottie was retired on May 1, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Bernie the St. Bernard

This is Bernie the St. Bernard who’s all tuckered out after a long day training to be a rescue dog. It’s really tough sloughing through all that snow when you’re still just a little guy! He was born October 3, 1996, and his poem reads:

This little dog can’t wait to grow
To rescue people lost in the snow
Don’t let him out – keep him on your shelf
He doesn’t know how to rescue himself!

But don’t worry, he’ll do just fine after a little more training. He has a coat of tan and white, with black patches around his eyes and dark brown ears. His eyes and nose are black. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Bernie was retired on September 22, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Doby the Doberman Pinscher

This is Doby the Doberman Pinscher who looks much more cuddily than ferocious! But he’s probably still too young for “guard dog” training since he hasn’t yet even had his ears cropped. He was born October 9, 1996, and his tag reads:

This dog is little but he has might
Keep him close when you sleep at night
He lays around with nothing to do
Until he sees it’s time to protect you.

Doby has the classic black and reddish tan coat of a Doberman. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Doby was retired on December 31, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

To him a sled is light as a feather.
Over the snow and through the slush
He runs at hearing the cry of “Mush”!

Spunky the Cocker Spaniel

This is Spunky the ASCOB (Any Solid Color Other than Black) Cocker Spaniel. He was born January 14, 1997, and his poem reads:

Bouncing around without much grace
To jump on your lap and lick your face
But watch him closely, he has no fears
He’ll run so fast, he’ll trip over his ears!

Well gee, folks, that’s not fair! Spunky is very graceful, and if he happens to trip over his marvelous long curly ears, he’ll do a very graceful sprawl and pretend he planned the whole thing! He has a tan coat and dark brown eyes and nose. His tags identify him as one of The Beanie Babies Collection by Ty, Inc. Spunky was retired on March 31, 1999. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Bruno the dog thinks he’s a brute,
But all the other Beanies think he’s cute.
He growls at his tail and runs in a ring
And everyone says, “Oh, how darling!”

Bruno was retired on September 18, 1998. He’s surface washable and for children age 3 and up. Perfect condition with no rips, tears, or smudges. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
