Huge snowflake plate

We have three of these 12" diameter white plates sprinkled with attractive golden brown snowflakes. Could be stoneware, but since they’re unmarked, who knows? Probably date to the 1960's, although I think the design of the snowflakes is reminiscent of those 50's starburst clocks! All three plates are in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. Price is for each plate. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Price: $15.00 each + s/h and insurance

Pair of snowflake dessert dishes

This pair of 5-1/2" diameter shallow dessert dishes match the snowflake plates listed above. Both are in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. The snowflake color on one of them is darker than on the other one. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Price: $10.00 + s/h and insurance

  only 1 pair available

Snowflake pie plate

Here’s a snowflake pie plate to match the plates and dessert dishes listed above. It stands 1-1/2" tall with diameters of 9-7/8" at the top and 6-1/4" at its base ring. Unmarked and in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Set of 4 seashell dishes

This is a set of four (2 larger, 2 smaller) exquisitely delicate, fragile white seashell dishes. They’re so thin that you can see light through them when you hold them up to the window. I have no idea whether they are some kind of china or real seashells. The shallow interiors are slightly iridescent, like mother of pearl, and the backs, especially of the larger two, certainly look like seashells, with brown lines, spots, etc. The larger two measure 7-1/4" x 6-1/2" and stand less than 1" tall. The smaller two measure 5-1/2" x 5" and stand about 3/4" tall. A remarkably beautiful set that definitely need very tender, loving care. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Price: $30.00 + s/h and insurance

Vintage pansy cake plate

This is a 9-7/8" diameter x 1/4" tall  vintage white porcelain cake plate decorated with pretty sprays of painted pansies in shades of purple, yellow, white, gray, and orange, with green stems and leaves. The plate is completely flat, with no base or feet. The back is unmarked except for two sets of incised numbers, “11" and “25". Each number has an additional mark underneath it. The top surface shows wear scuffing around the edges, and the edges themselves have several small nicks. You have to look really hard, and in just the right light, to see the light utensil scratches on the top surface. Still a very attractive “plate” that would make a fine display piece as well as a cake server. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Price: $25.00 + s/h and insurance

Set of 6 white china demitasse cups and saucers

This is a set of six pure white china demitasse cups and saucers. Tall and graceful, with lovely lacy handles, the cups stand a shade over 4-1/2" high with diameters of 2" at their mouths and 1-7/8" at their pedestal bases. The saucers are just over 4" in diameter with 2-7/8" diameter base rings. We have an extra saucer, so you get that, too, as “one to grow on,” like my mama always used to say when we kids got an extra of anything! No markings as to manufacturer. All 13 pieces are in perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or scratches. A really elegant demitasse set that makes a lovely espresso set, too! (Click on picture for more images.) Vintage open sugar bowl

This attractive old unmarked white china sugar bowl features a delicate colorful band around the top, interspersed with sprays of pink flowers and green leaves connected underneath by gold leafy swags, producing a rather Victorian look. Gilding around the top edge and on both handles. Standing 2-1/8" tall, it measures 5-1/2" across from handle to handle with diameters of 3-5/8" at the top and 1-3/4" at the base. The rim gilding is a little worn and there’s a small chip at the edge of the base. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Hexagonal lidded jar & companion toothpick holder

This is a pure white 5-1/4" tall hexagonal lidded jar with a companion 2-1/2" tall hexagonal toothpick holder (?). The jar has six little 1/4" feet while the toothpick holder sits on a round base with four indentations in it. The jar is 4" in diameter, and both its lid and the toothpick holder are 2-3/4" in diameter. All three pieces are unmarked and in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. A very pretty display grouping. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Turquoise miniature teacup and saucer

Here’s a delightful vintage turquoise miniature teacup and saucer. The cup features a foliage design around the bottom, diagonal swirls leading to a scalloped mouth, and a fancy handle. Diameters are 2-1/8" at the mouth and 1-5/8" at its unglazed base ring. The saucer has a matching foliage design around its unusual hexagonal cup ring, diagonal swirls leading to its 4-3/4" diameter scalloped rim, and a 2" diameter unglazed base ring. Together the two pieces stand 2-1/4" tall. Neither piece is marked, and both are in near-perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing, but a tiny flyspeck on the cup’s rim. Both unglazed white base rings show slight wear discoloration. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Sleeping mouse cheese tray

Serve your cheese with confidence on this colorful ceramic cheese tray – the sleeping mouse won’t bother it a bit! Actually, the design shows him sound asleep and dreaming of a big wheel of Swiss cheese. Piece measures 7-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 1" tall. Bottom says “S. Kramsky” under the glaze, so I’m assuming that’s the artist’s signature. Perfect condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, or discoloration. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
