AM/FM alarm clock radio w/ iPod Docking Station

Here’s a neat AM/FM clock radio with a real bonus – it’s also an iPod docking station! (iPod is a trademark of Apple Inc.) Clock has a large digital readout and you can set the alarm to wake you to either the radio or a buzzer. The docking station allows you to play music from your iPod while also charging it. You can also connect a non-docked iPod, other MP3 players, and other audio devices via the included auxiliary cord. Includes 9 cradles for most types of iPods. Note: iPod is NOT included. Runs on regular household AC current, but requires a 9V battery (not included) for clock back-up. New and unused in its original unopened box that measures 9-3/4" x 4-3/8" x 4-1/4". LED computer lamp

Of all the gadgets that Ol’ Swaphos has brought into the Trading Post, this little LED computer lamp is by far my favorite. That’s because it plugs directly into my computer’s USB port, its 2-3/4" x 4-1/2" oval base takes up minimal space on my overcrowded desktop, its flexible gooseneck allows infinite positioning, it puts out just the right amount of blue-white light to see my keyboard at night without having to turn on the overhead light, and – oh happy day! – its 14 little LED lights don’t get hot and burn me! Who could ask for anything more? Well, how about attractiveness? The long tapering leaf-shaped lamp casing (4-1/4" x 1-7/8" x 1" tall) is downright sculptural and the on-off pushbutton switch is an 8-pointed star! This lamp is perfect for students living in dorms or anyone else who wants or needs to work at the computer at night without disturbing roommates or a grumpy spouse. It also runs on 3 AA batteries (not included), making it the perfect emergency light during power outages. Don’t be fooled by this little guy. He weighs only 5 ounces, but he does a superman lighting job! We have four of these nifty lamps (none of which is mine, I can assure you) and price is for each. All are in perfect condition and ready to light up your workspace if not your life! (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

Heads You Win

Heads You Win: How the Best Companies Think is a book by Quinn Spitzer & Ron Evans. Published in 1997, it was praised in advance as “a new business masterpiece,” to “show how critical thinking skills can provide the competitive edge that leaders and their companies are seeking.” But while it was recommended “for every executive,” it’s not a dull business-world-only book. The discussions of, and practical tips on, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making can be applied to all aspects of your life, not just your job. Quite a witty and enjoyable book! Brand new -- order your copy today! (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.

FineLife Classic Handset

If you use your cell phone for business purposes, you know it’s virtually impossible to hold it securely between your ear and shoulder while using your hands to take notes or work on the computer. Here’s the answer! This Classic Handset (a/k/a old-fashioned 8-1/4" long black plastic telephone receiver) plugs into your cell phone via the included 3.5 mm socket attached to the receiver’s 21" long expandable cord. Voila! Now you can leave your cell in its cradle and work to your heart’s content while talking on the phone! May not be the ultimate high-tech solution, but the darn thing works like gangbusters! It’s compatible with both iPhones and BlackBerries, never needs to be charged, has a built-in volume control, and emits less radiation than cell phones. What more could you want? You can’t have mine, but this one is new and unused in its original 11" x 4-3/8" x 2-3/4" box. Instruction manual included. (Click on picture for more images.) Tell a friend.
